Welcome to
Sometimes Wise.
A reflective space for systems, practice, community and lived experience.
Offering clarity, structure and accountability for fairer decisions, better engagement and steadier wellbeing.
About
Sometimes Wise
I’m Sarah Williams, a practitioner working at the intersection of inclusion, systems and human stories. Based in Pembrokeshire and working across Wales and the UK, my practice supports organisations and communities to understand how people learn, decide and belong.
My work spans engagement, wellbeing, systems thinking and reflective learning. Sometimes this looks like organisational consultancy. Sometimes it’s community‑based. Sometimes it’s shaped by lived experience and the quieter insights that emerge over time.
Sometimes Wise brings these strands together:
reflective writing and slower thinking
community projects and collective learning
wellbeing and lived‑experience work
systems and practice insights
the ongoing evolution of my practice, previously known as Equality Counts
My approach is rooted in practice, not perfection. It draws on lived experience, evidence and the belief that fairness grows through steady, honest learning rather than quick fixes or performative change.
This space will grow through 2026 with new writing, resources and conversations about what helps people feel grounded, connected and able to belong — in work, in community and in life.
Pause…
Not everything needs to be about thriving. For many people, the real work is creating the conditions to simply show up. That matters too.
If you’re looking for inclusion consultancy, training or reflective resources, you’ll find more about how I work further down the page.
